“Last minute setbacks on the border from Laos to Cambodia didn’t give us enough time to request our one-month Visa to Vietnam, which meant we had only two weeks to explore just a small part of the southern part of the country. Entering Vietnam through its Highlands was a beautiful change of landscape coming from the desert-like South of Laos, and tired of driving over 3000 kms on ‘La Conquistadora’, we decided to take the ‘Reunification Express’ all the way to Ho Chi Minh, where a huge city dominated by skyscrapers, local markets and of course, motorbikes, was waiting for us.”
