"Our beloved Kolkata is a fascinating and vibrating city, once capital of the country during colonial times. Known as the cultural capital of India, it is a gift for all senses. Famous for its beautiful English architecture and green parks, its yellow taxis and for serving some of the best Indian Chai on small distinctive clay pots. Walking under the pre-monsoon 47 degree weather, we were mesmerised by the diversity of its people and neighbourhoods. Kolkata is definitely one of those places in India that we will continue to dream of until we have the chance to come back."
